The legendary blues musician Chris Rea to come to Moscow to play at Crocus City Hall on February, 9, 2012!
An international blues star Chris Rea will be presenting both his old familiar hits and the songs from his new album “Santo Spirito Blues” which was released in September. The sound of the highest quality and warm, friendly atmosphere are the features that accompany each and every of his concerts. This music, just as the genuine feelings, knows no boundaries of time.
Chris Rea has created hits like “Looking For The Summer”, “Road To Hell” and “The Blue Café”. He was born in English town Middlesborough to a family that owned a small café. He has first enlisted as a journalism student but quit studies after several heated arguments with his professor. A recording of the guitarist Josh Walsh from the Eagles has defined his life. He has recorded a single “Fool (If You Think It’s Over)” with the band called “Beautiful Losers”, which has landed in the top of the charts and signified a rise of a new star. Fighting a severe illness during the 2000s, Chris Rea continued to release instrumental music on his indie label “Jazzee Blue”. Now he is back on the stage, presenting the album, recorded straight after the recovery.
