Lyricist and composer Eric Levi will bring his legendary project “Era” to Moscow. Don’t miss the epic concert on April, 11 and 12, at Moscow Crocus City Hall accompanied by the English chamber choir and the Great academic orchestra.
“Era” was founded by Eric Levi (Eric Jacques Levisalles) in 1997. The genre of their music is normally defined as new age or enigmatica. In the music world “Era” deservedly takes its place among the bands like “Enigma” and “Gregorian”.
“Era” is associated by many with honesty, power and kindness. Their music brings calm and relaxation, while charging the listeners with a surge of powerful positive energy – that’s probably why people say that “Era” creates music for the soul. Musicians combine keyboard and guitar music, played by the band’s founder Eric Levi. There might be spotted some influence from “Enigma”, but the live sound of the church choir is what differs “Era”. This combination of chorals, gentle female vocal and elaborate guitar solos leads to astonishing results. Each of their songs is a special story, with its own plot and, when performed with the orchestra, many of them become true masterpieces.
