RUSSIAN WINTER 2012
Spend a day with your family at the main Moscow winter athletic event! Along with the international competitions, the programme includes kids competitions, master classes from the world’s sport stars, fan events and many other activities!

This year after a long break powerwalking has been returned to the schedule. You will see World Champions and Olympic Champions Olga Kaniskina and Valery Borchin, who will be joined by the best powerwalkers in the world. Traditionally, the programme includes broad jumps (women) and high jumps (men), featuring Russian and international sport stars. The fastest sprinters of our planet for the sixth year in a row will compete in attempting to break the world’s record for 600 metres. Among the participants are Yuri Borzakovski, participation was already confirmed by Kim Collins, Adam Kschot, Daniella Carruthers, Jenny Meadows, Angela Williams and many others.
International programme for the “Russian Winter 2012”:
Men: running 60 metres, 600 metres, 60 metres hurdles race, high jumps, pole vaulting and broad jumps, power walking 5000 metres.
Women: running 60 metres, 400 metres, 1000 metres, 60 metres hurdles race, broad jumps, power walking 3000 metres.
