Aszure Barton is a new person for Russian audience. This young lady-choreographer coming from New-York, however, has been long-known and recognized both in USA and some other countries. She successfully works in cooperation with such dance gurus as Mikhail Baryshikov and Aleksey Ratmansky.  
Aszure Barton’s  eye-catching productions are entrancing in their elegant beauty. She makes her dancers move not just elaborately and expressively but also fill their dance with deep but very clear emotional meaning. You can always see an intriguing inner plot in her ballet; discover a thoughtfully built story with recognizable heroes, events, details.
Barton has chosen two productions: “Busk” and “Blue Soup”, to make her first acquaintance with Russian audience. What makes them especially interesting is that the last one includes the fragments from the most remarkable productions from the previous years and will be very helpful for those who wish to make a first impression on the working manner of this outstanding contemporary choreographer.
